Robo Junior for Grades 6 - 7
Details

Robo Jr is 16 hours program designed for the beginners. Through this program, even a class 6 student can understand and use the programming tool, thus giving him clarity of thought process.

You may wonder how a 6th standard student can understand robotics? It is NOT actually robotics that he/she will be trying to learn, it is more about learning concepts of STEM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics ) in a practical approach by experiencing them on robots. It is at this early age, students can learn instantly through 'doing' instead of 'learning'; and our hands on sessions ensure that the students develop the passion and desire to explore new things by themselves. This course will ignite in students the interest to learn science and math concepts and will also make them express their unique talent in either engineering / science / arts.

The concept of robotics is taught from the scratch. This is done through our programming tool, RoboGuruT which is interactive, intelligent and easy software, introduced by us for the first time in India. For Robo Jr, the programming which is taught is very basic, as the level increases, the complexity also increases simultaneously.

Curriculum

Session 1:
  1. Assembly of the robot
  2. How to make a Jr. Docile X robot.
  3. Building algorithm and understanding programming syntax

Session 2:
  1. Introduction to RoboGuru.(our programming software).
  2. Concepts of motion: Distance, Displacement, Velocity, Acceleration
  3. Different types of batteries and their usage.

Session 3:
  1. Basic programming using drag and drop commands
  2. Design of a robot and its importance
  3. Gears and Gear systems and their importance

Session 4:
  1. Proper usage of the tools.
  2. Basic understanding of force, gravitation.

AND LOTS MORE.

A competition will be held at the end of the training program. The students are to react spontaneously and it helps them in spot- decision making.

Robo Junior Plus for Grades 8 - 9
Details

Robo Jr+ training program will comprise of 20 hours of theoretical and hands-on training. The training is designed to be not just educational but also interactive and fun. Our RoboGuru software, which is especially designed for students to make them understand the STEM programming concepts, will make the learning experience interactive and worthwhile.

As the levels increase in the programming tool, new terms will be introduced to students and the difficulty level also increases proportionally.

Curriculum

Session 1:
  1. Assembly of the robot
  2. How to make a Jr. Docile X robot.
  3. Building algorithm and understanding programming syntax

Session 2:
  1. Introduction to RoboGuru.(our programming software).
  2. Concepts of motion: Distance, Displacement, Velocity, Acceleration
  3. Different types of batteries and their usage.

Session 3:
  1. Introduction to the maps.
  2. Concepts of Torque, angular velocity and motion transmission
  3. Centre of mass of a body and its importance
  4. Fundamentals of Kinetics energy, Potential Energy and work.

Session 4:
  1. Basic programming using drag and drop commands
  2. Design of a robot and its importance
  3. Gears and Gear systems and their importance

Session 5:
  1. Proportionality: Importance of proportional terms
  2. Speed of motor proportional to voltage
  3. Distance covered proportional to diameter of wheel
  4. Voltage proportional to current

Session 6:

  1. Proper usage of the tools.
  2. Basic understanding of force, gravitation.

AND LOTS MORE.

Robo Senior for Grades 9 - 12
Details

Robo Sr training program will comprise of 24 hours of extensive theoretical and hands-on training. This is the stage where the student learns four different phases- Think, Create, Build, Amaze.

  • Think Phase: The students start developing science and engineering intuition- where the concepts are very much supported.
  • Create Phase: The student gets an opportunity to create a new modeling of the proposed map.
  • Build Phase: Hands on sessions plays the vital role. Students use the kit to build sub assemblies and construct a working robot. This phase validates the conceptual knowledge learned in the previous Think and Create phases.
  • Amaze Phase: Classrooms challenges the engineering notebook. Using the completed robot, students have fun testing the limits of their robot through various challenges.

    2. Equation of motion
  2. Linear Equations
    1. Equation of motion
  3. Introduction to electronic devices : LED's, LCD's etc.

Session 9:
  1. Programming with RoboGuru
  2. Logic and Logic gates

Session 10:
  1. Various sensors and their uses: Bump, IR, sound, ultrasonic etc
  2. Implement a line follower, wall follower, sound follower etc
  3. Different concepts in programming
    1. Functions
    2. Operators
    3. Conditions
    4. Loops
